Phil Heeks began releasing albums as The British Stereo Collective in late 2021 with ‘Mystery Fields’, a vinyl of retro TV themes for an imagined past. Eleven albums have since followed on vinyl or CD, in a multitude of styles, predominantly independent of the faux-themes conceit. A further five are on the horizon, including another vinyl of faux TV and movie themes, which will be the biggest and mostly widely-exposed BSC project to date. Melodic, symphonic and “eclectronic”, The BSC is debuting its first full set at Switched On. Phil will be accompanied on stage by Mark Price of ShadowLab.
